The SENCO® SHF15's ratchet system gives do-it-yourself, rental,
novice and professional floor installers a multiple-hit tool with ample
power to set nails. Nails not fully driven by the first blow remain
positively positioned for additional strikes. It has a rugged composite
base that virtually eliminates scratching and damage to the surface of
both unfinished and prefinished wood. And at only 7.6 lb, the SHF15 is
ergonomically designed with the hardwood installer in mind.
Applications:
For the installation of 1/2" (12mm) to 33/32" (26mm) hardwood
flooring. (1/2" applications require optional adapter.)
.
Features and Benefits:
• Mallet-actuated firing simultaneously sets floor boards (tongue into
groove) and drives cleat nails at an ideal 45°angle
• Unlike staples, cleat nails minimize wood splitting and still allow for
expansion and contraction of flooring materials.
• Easy-to-use ratchet drive system allows cleats to be driven with
multiple blows
• Lightweight - only 7.6 lb
• Composite base reduces scratching and surface damage
• Mallet actuated (mallet included)
• Ergonomically designed for improved productivity, less fatigue and
ease of operation
Sequential Actuation Trigger (also known as restrictive trigger or trigger fire) operates in
the following a sequence - depress the safety element at the nose of tool against the work
surface then pull the trigger. After each fastener is driven, release the trigger and lift the
tool off the work surface before starting the sequence again. This trigger is recommended
and acceptable for most applications.
Always read the Operators Manual and Safety Instructions with all tools to ensure proper
information on SENCO’s trigger systems. Choose the right trigger system for your specific
needs!
