miniVox-MV100 Setup Instructions

Connect the USB cable to the miniVox and plug the other end  
into the USB port of the computer. The red LED should light up,  
indicating the device is ready for use.

Run your favorite IM or Voice over IP software and enable the  
talk feature.  
See Diagram 1.

Open the Windows volume control panel  
Go to Options Menu, then select Properties  
Select “USB Audio Device” as the Mixer Device  
To adjust speaker volume, select Adjust Volume for Playback,  
and adjust to your preferred setting

To adjust microphone volume, select Adjust Volume for  
Recording, and adjust to your preferred setting  
Note: Some IM and online meeting programs have much higher output  
speaker levels than others. If the volume is too high, the sound might  
be distorted. In this case, adjust the speaker volume lower to a more  
comfortable level.

Frequently Asked Questions  
Q: Does the miniVox require any batteries?  
A:  
The miniVox is powered through the USB port, and does not  
require any external batteries.  
Q: Do I need to install any drivers for the miniVox?  
A:  
The miniVox does not require any drivers. Just plug and play.

Why can’t I hear any sound coming out of the speaker?  
Check to make sure that “USB Audio Device” is selected as the  
mixer device. Then, check to make sure the speaker volume is  
set to a sufficient level. Please refer to the “Adjusting Speaker  
and Microphone Volumes” section.

Communications Commission (FCC) rules, and is subject to

mVox Electronics, Inc. warrants the miniVox MV100 to be free  
of defects for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase.  
In the event of a defect in material or workmanship during the  
warranty period, mVox, at its discretion, will repair or replace  
the defective product.  
The remedy for this breach of warranty is limited to servicing  
or replacement only and shall not cover any other damages,  
including but not limited to the loss of profit, special incident,  
consequential, and other similar claims. In no event will mVox  
be liable for any amount greater than the currently suggested  
retail price.
