This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a class B digital  
device pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC rules. These limits are designed to provide  
reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This  
equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy. If not installed and  
used in accordance with the instructions, it may cause harmful interference to radio  
communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a  
particular installation. If the equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or  
television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment on and off, the user  
is encouraged to try and correct the interference by one or more of the following  
suggestions.  
Note: The default setting for the RAID setting is  
BIG. The switch has 3 settings. You slide the switch  
from left to right to change RAID setting.  
Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna  
Increase the distance between the equipment and the receiver  
Connect the equipment to a different power outlet other than the one where receiver is  
connected  
Consult a certified television or radio technician  
 
Steps to configure a SAFE RAID set using USB connection (Windows XP)

1. Open the 57xx SteelVine Manager.

2. Insert the 2 CF cards to the CF slots on the AD2SAHDCF.  
3. Connect the USB cable to the AD2SAHDCF. The 57xx SteelVine Manager  
detects the 2 CF cards in the AD2SAHDCF.

5. Unplug the USB cable.  
6. Place the switch to SAFE mode.  
7. Plug back the USB cable to confirm the SAFE RAID setting.  
4. Open Disk Management to check that both CF cards are detected.

*You will see an unallocated or partition depending if the CF card had been used.  
Delete the partition to make it into one BIG virtual disk.  
 
8. To rebuild the SAFE RAID set, go to Action > Start Rebuild > Drive 1

Note: The steps for creating BIG or FAST RAID set would be similar with  
the steps on creating SAFE RAID set. Only select the correct  
switch setting.
