■ Provides eight ports of ADSL,
®
Module provides ADTRAN’s Total Access
either full-rate or G.lite
DSLAM with eight ports of ADSL, each of
which can be individually configured for
either full-rate or G.lite ADSL. Residing in a
single access slot in the DSLAM, this module
provides two of today’s most popular DSL
technologies.
■ 224 ports per Total Access
DSLAM
■ Supports separately
configurable interface rates
upstream and downstream
The Octal ADSL Access Module interfaces
with the SCU for SNMP management. Both
provisioning and alarm/LED status is
supported.
■ Co-exists in the Total Access
3000 DSLAM with ADTRAN’s
Cell Switch Module
Flexible and configurable, ADTRAN’s ADSL
module allows operators to configure
upstream and downstream transmission
rates, or the interfaces may be configured to
adapt to the best possible rates available on
the subscriber loop.
■ Onboard relays provide for
metallic test access to the
subscriber loops
All provisioning of the module is handled
through the SCU communication link. The
unit retains provisioning data in a nonvolatile
memory device for recovery after a power loss
and supports optional autoprovisioning
through the SCU.
■ Supports craft interface
management
The ADSL module co-exists in the DSLAM
with ADTRAN’s ATM Cell Switch Module to
provide cell-switched ADSL services. The Cell
Switch Module provides all cell-switching
functions in the DSLAM.
■ Supports Total Access EMS
management with SNMP
■ Incorporates front panel LEDs
for power/card status and loop
status
■ Designed to UL 1950 and NEBS
Level 3 requirements
■ Includes industry-leading
10-year warranty
