Safety
• Install your surge suppressor indoors, away from excess moisture, heat and dust.
• Connect your surge suppressor to a grounded AC power outlet. Do not remove or modify the ground
pin of the surge suppressor's plug. Do not use two-prong adapters with the surge suppressor's plug. Do
not connect extension cords to the surge suppressor's outlets.
• Do not install the surge suppressor or any other electrical device during a lightning storm.
• Do not open the surge suppressor for any reason. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
Installation
• Plug your surge suppressor into a properly grounded outlet providing 220VAC, 230VAC, or 240VAC
power at 50 or 60 Hz.
• Plug your electric equipment into your surge suppressor's outlets. The surge suppressor's universal
outlets will accept a wide variety of plugs. The current drawn by all connected equipment together cannot
exceed 10 amps or the circuit breaker will trip.
• Flip the power switch to ON to turn on power at the surge suppressor's outlets; flip it back to OFF to
turn power off at the outlets.
• If the circuit breaker trips, unplug enough equipment from the surge suppressor's outlets to reduce the
total current drawn below 10 amps. Allow the surge suppressor to cool for a few minutes, then press
the circuit breaker in to reset it.
