Sharp continues to lead in the professional projection market, with the introduction of the XG-MB50X.
In spite of its affordable price, the Conference/Classroom series XG-MB50X is not short on features,
quality or performance. With 2000 ANSI Lumens brightness, and XGA native resolution, the XG-MB50X
is perfect for most classroom or conference facilities, and with its high image quality (2000:1 contrast
ratio) and wide compatibly (including HDTV), the XG-MB50X is the projector of choice for use with both
computer and video sources.
optimum performance, image quality
and reliability
3x speed, 4-segment color wheel with
sRGB, color temperature adjustment and
bright-boost ensures superior color quality
and brightness in any environment
Recognizing the needs of the "commercial" user, the XG-MB50X offers not only a 3-year parts and labor
limited warranty [90-days on the user replaceable projection lamp], but also, 3-years of Sharp's industry
leading "ER" 24-hour turnaround Express Repair support. Additionally, knowing that projectors in this
category frequently interface with external control systems, the XG-MB50X features an on-board RS-
232C port, and includes, FREE, the necessary RS-232C control adapter (which is an extra-cost option with
other similar projectors).
Sealed optics and multiple ultra-quiet
cooling fans for reliable, extended-use
operation
2000:1 contrast ratio provides rich
image clarity
Standard features of the XG-MB50X include XGA native resolution (1024 x 768) with compatibility up
through SXGA+ (1400 x 1050), short-throw zoom/focus lens, DTV/HDTV compatibility and up to 3000-
hour lamp life.
On-screen setup guide and "Help" function
ensures easy setup and operation
DTV/HDTV compatibility (both 4:3 and 16:9)
for use with current and future video
technologies
To enhance color accuracy, the XG-MB50X incorporates a unique Condenser Lens optical system, along
with Texas Instruments™ DDR DLP™ display technology and TrueVision™ (DDP2000) image processing.
A 3-times speed, 4-segment color wheel ensures that all projected images will be uniform - void of the
"rainbow" effect common in other projectors, and sealed optics along with multiple ultra-quiet cooling
fans make the XG-MB50X the projector of choice for extended-use operation.
Short throw zoom/focus lens allows for a
large projected image from a "short"
throw distance
With its wireless remote - including built-in forward/back PC control, operation is an ease from anywhere
in the room. For higher-end integration, the XG-MB50X offers multiple computer/component, video and
audio inputs, along with RGB/component "loop-through", stereo variable audio line-output ("VAO") and
RS-232C control port.
Extended Lamp Life (up to 3000 hours in
low power "eco" mode)
