INTRODUCTION  
The SVAT UC1301 Wireless Indoor Color Hidden Teddy Cam allows you to  
discretely keep an eye on your children. The Teddy Cam is very easy to  
install, the transmitter is discretely hidden, and you don’t have to worry  
about messy wiring through your infant’s room. This smart and cuddly bear  
is the perfect solution for affordable baby monitoring.

INSTALLATION  
TEDDY CAM  
1. The Teddy Cam can be powered by either a 9 volt battery or with the  
included AC Adapter.  
2. Move the Teddy Cam to the desired location.  
NOTE: The transmission range of the Teddy Cam is up to 150ft. Real  
distance depends on its operating environment. If you are receiving  
interference, try shortening the transmission range. Reposition and/or  
adjust the Teddy Cam if video transmission is being degraded by  
obstructions in its operating environment.  
3. Select the desired transmission channel for the Teddy Cam.  
NOTE: The Teddy Cam has four different transmission channels. Do not  
use more than one video camera on the same channel. Doing so will  
result in interference and an unclear picture.  
•The transmitter is located inside the back of the bear. Unzip the  
zipper and pull out the transmitter. Set the switch to the desired  
channel (1-4)  
5. Place a 9V battery into the battery compartment. Use only alkaline  
batteries for the Teddy Cam. The Teddy Cam can also be powered  
using the the AC Power Adapter. Plug it into the adapter jack, then  
plug the AC Power Adapter into a standard 120V/230VAC electrical  
outlet.  
NOTE: Make sure to take the battery out of the battery compartment  
before plugging in the AC Power Adapter.  
7. Slide the Power ON/OFF Switch to the ON position.

1. Insert the AV Adapter Plug into the AV Output port of the receiver  
2. Insert the yellow and white cable plugs into the Video Input and  
Audio Input Jacks of your TV.

3. Connect the AC Power Adapter to the 9V Power Input Jack  
of the receiver.  
4. Select the desire channel (1-4). Make sure it matches the transmission  
channel of the Teddy Cam.  
5. Plug the AC Power Adaptor into a standard 120V/230V AC electrical  
outlet.  
6. Slide the ON/OFF Switch to the ON position.  
7. Television Set configuration:  
•Turn on the power to the television set.  
•Switch the TV channel to the VIDEO/LINE INPUT position.  
•Adjust the TV volume and pictures, as desired.  
•TV/Video can be switched each other to monitor surroundings  
while TV / DVD program is being played.  
8. Unplug the AC Power Adaptor from the electrical outlet when it is not  
in use or is left unattended.  
VIDEO RECORDING SETUP  
1. Follow the normal setup procedures for the Bear Video Camera and  
Receiver.  
2. Insert the yellow & white cable plugs into the Video Input and Audio  
Input Jacks of your VCR/DVR.  
3. Make sure your VCR is connected to your television set.

TROUBLESHOOTING  
Please read this user’s manual carefully before using. If you still have diffi-  
culties to use the product, consult the following  
syndrome, which will help you solve most common problems.  
No picture after turning on the TV  
1. Check the power supply.  
•Ensure that both the transmitter and receiver are properly connected  
and set to the same channels.  
•Ensure both the transmitter and receiver power indicators illuminate.  
2. Ensure the video cable is well connected.  
3. Ensure the TV channel is set to "Video".  
4. Set the transmitter and receiver to the channel with the clearest signal.  
5. Shorten the transmission range/distance between the transmitter and  
receiver. Reposition and/or adjust the Teddy Cam.  
Unclear picture reception  
1. Ensure that both the transmitter and receiver are properly connected  
and set to the same channels.  
2. Shorten the transmission range/distance between the transmitter and  
receiver. Reposition and/or adjust the Teddy Cam. Replace 9V battery  
when necessary.

Warranty Terms  
1. SVAT products are guaranteed for a period of one year from the date of purchase against defects in  
workmanship and materials. This warranty is limited to the repair, replacement or refund of the purchase price  
at SVAT's option.  
2. When service is required, the warranty is validated by the submission of a fully completed warranty card.  
3. This warranty becomes void if the product shows evidence of having been misused, mishandled or tampered  
with contrary to the applicable instruction manual.  
4. Routine cleaning, normal cosmetic and mechanical wear and tear are not covered under the terms of this  
warranty.
