Your energy efficient surge protector is specifically designed to fit within your  
home theater setup. You can conveniently control the on/off of your devices in  
either zone 1 or zone 2 outlets with your remote control. When switched to

the off position, it eliminates the consumption of the stand-by power to these  
outlets, bringing energy savings to your fingertips.

NOTE: If the remote control device stops working, replace the battery.  
Step 1 -Turn the unit over and slide open the battery compartment cover.  
Step 2 - Remove and dispose of the old battery properly. Do not throw the old  
battery in the trash.  
Step 3 - Insert a new battery and close the compartment cover. Replace ONLY with a 3 volt CR2032 type button  
cell battery.  
NOTE:The remote control with this unit operates on either channel A or channel B frequency. If you have purchased  
more than one unit, make sure you have two different frequencies (A and B) as indicated by stickers on the bottom of  
the unit and on the packaging.
