1 Disconnect the negative
battery terminal to
prevent an accidental
short circuit.
A) Strip wire ends back

2 Unsnap gearshift trim
bezel and slide back.

3 Remove (2) T-25 Torx
from climate control

Locate the factory wiring harness in the
dash. Metra recommends using the
proper mating adapter and making
connections as shown. (Isolate and
individually tape off the ends of any
unused wires to prevent electrical
short circuit).

out, insert fingers
between the console
and climate panel
and pull down at the
same angle. Remove
the panel.

Re-connect the battery terminal and test
the unit for proper operation.
(Some force may be
required)

Reassemble dash in the reverse order of
the Dash Disassembly on page 1.
4 Remove (2) T-25 Torx
from radio bottom in
climate control cavity
to remove radio.

1 With a Phillips screwdriver,

Snap the Radio Housing
into radio bracket and
replace rear support
brackets removed in
step #1.

remove the kit rear support
bracket.

Slide the DIN cage into
the radio opening, secure
by bending the metal
locking tabs down.*

After removing radio, with a
T-25 Torx driver remove (5)
screws from radio bracket.

Slide the DIN unit
(radio) into the cage
until its secure.

Depress snaps on top and
bottom of pocket to remove
from bracket.

radio.
