ITGSH-150 - The Wireless Hi-Frequency Headphones are designed for  
TV, music and other audio/video devices. The user can now listen at  
their own preferred volume without disturbing others. This headset  
provides a clear signal up to 24 feet within direct sight of the transmitter  
via infrared technology - so you can hear the TV, DVD’s, CD’s, VCR  
Tapes or Radio programs.  
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:  
To achieve the best quality from this product, please read this manual  
carefully before operating. Please keep this manual for future reference.  
When using this unit, basic safety precautions should be followed to avoid the  
risk of electrical shock or personal injury. Please refer all servicing to qualified  
personnel ONLY! Do not attempt to repair/open the product!

SET-UP AND INSTRUCTIONS:  
1. Place the transmitter on top of your TV, shelf or flat surface.  
Make sure there is a power socket available for the main power adaptor  
2. Plug the transmitter’s main power adapter into a standard electrical  
power socket, then plug the power lead into the transmitter base  
socket (please see  
).

3. Since the infrared signal is emitted in a 30 degree conical form and  
maximum 24 feet line of sight , it is recommend that you place the  
transmitter base facing where you will be sitting while watching  
TV and make sure that the battery housings are fully plugged in to

). You must have a clear and  
unobstructed view of the transmitter front while watching TV and  
using the headphones. The signal does not transmit through objects!  
Do not face the transmitter towards a window or glass sliding door,  
as the infrared ray may escape through the window or door instead  
of reflecting around the room. If the headphone is placed too far from  
the transmitter, a hissing noise may occur. This is a characteristic  
of infrared systems and does not mean that the system is defective,

4. Make sure that the battery is fully inserted into the headphones

Then place the headphones shown in  
into the transmitter.  
All two LEDs should now be visible in the front window. Please  
charge the batteries at least 16 hours for first time use.  
5. Connect the audio input of the transmitter (either the A RCA socket  
or B 3.5mm socket) to the audio output of the audio sources, using  
the 3.5mm – 2RCA audio cord supplied.  
Please note:  
If you use the headphone jack instead of the RCA out, the overall  
sound volume will be increased. If you turn to maximum volume  
there may be some static noise, but this is normal.  
6. Once you have set everything up you should see two LEDs in the

8. To use the headphone simply lift it out of the cradle and put  
it on your head (under your chin). Then turn the volume up to a  
comfortable level and you are ready to watch your favorite  
program ( please see  
).

9. Note: please make sure that the under chin headphone is ON  
(see figure 5 ). You should be able to read the word VOLUME properly.  
If the word VOLUME is upside down, then you have the headphones  
on backwards.  
10. When you are finished using the under chin headphone simply put  
it back into the transmitter base. Make sure that the LED light turns

on in the transmitter base (please see

11.To replace the battery pack simply pull one out of the transmitter  
base (right side), pull out the battery pack from the under chin  
headphone, plug the new battery pack into the under chin  
headphone and then put the drained battery pack back into the  
right side of transmitter base for recharging.  
Warning:  
Do not force the battery pack into the charger or headphone.  
It fits easily when in the correct orientation.  
12. Note: the transmitter base will automatically take care of the  
recharging of the batteries.  
13.The transmitter base has a switch that allows you to switch  
between stereo and mono operation. For most users leave  
the switch set to stereo.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE:

Transmitter keeps switching

If your audio signal is coming from a  
portable audio player or computer, we  
suggested that you use a relatively high  
volume from your headphone jack in  
order to maintain strong enouph audio  
signals to enable the transmitter to send  
the audio signal to your headphone. If  
you find that the audio is too loud, you  
can use the volume control switch by  
your headphone.

the correct socket and the volume turned to the lowest level before  
turning the unit on. Failure to do so can result in high sound levels

• Please make sure that the volume knob is in the fully OFF position.

Batteries contain chemical substances, so they should be disposed  
of properly.  
Install the unit securely on a stable surface and install the unit where  
the power cord will not be subject to damage/wear.  
• When inserting or removing the power adapter from any electric  
outlet, pull the plug only.  
• Never pull or jerk the cable to avoid the risk of electric shock due to  
damage to the cable. Protect the power cord from being walked on  
or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles and the  
point where they exit from the product.

DO NOT place this product on a very hot or very cold surfaces.  
Keep out of direct sunlight.  
DO NOT install the product near any heat sources such as  
radiators, heat registers, stoves or other products  
(including amplifiers) that produce heat.  
Avoid using or storing the product in a dusty or damp area, in any  
unstable location or in any magnetic zone.  
To avoid risk of electric shock, DO NOT exposes this product to  
water or dampness.  
Always keep & operate this product in a well-ventilated environment.  
• DO NOT use petrol, gasoline, thinners or any solvent to clean  
the product.  
• Remove dust or stains with a damp cloth only.  
• DO NOT use oil or grease any mechanical parts. All moving parts in  
this product were thoroughly lubricated & sealed in the factory &  
require no further lubrication.  
• If any liquids should accidentally fall on or get in to the product,  
immediately turn off the power & contact an authorized service  
center or a qualified & registered electrician for assistance.  
• Before using the product with the approved power adapter provided,  
ensure the electric power supply is compatible with the voltage rating  
of the provided power adapter.  
• Use ONLY the provided power adapter. Never use other power  
adapters even if they have the same specifications or rating.  
• When the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an  
electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.  
• Do not insert or remove the power adapter for the electric outlet with  
wet or damp hands.  
• Remove the power adapter from the electric outlet if the product is  
not in use for a long time or during lighting storms.  
• When inserting or removing the power adapter from any electric  
outlet, pull the plug only.
